Teaching Procedures:
I. Warm up
Sing a song
II. Presentation
1. Show pictures of kinds of daily activities such as exercise, eat vegetables, wash hands, read in bed, watch TV all the time and so on. Teach the phrases. Encourage the students tell about each activity if it’s good or bad.
2. Ask the students, how do you feel when you exercise/stay up late…?
Help the students say I feel tired and sleepy when I stay up late….
Nobody wants to be tired, sleepy, sick… all the time. But how do we keep healthy? What should we do and what shouldn’t we do to keep healthy? Present DO and DON’T. Write these two words on the blackboard and teach the two words.
3. Play the audio of Part 3. Encourage the students to say out what they hear. Play the audio again. Have the students listen, point to the picture and say after the audio.
III. Practice
1. Write good habits( do) and bad habits (don’t) on the blackboard.
Say, can you name any other good (bad) habits? Encourage the students to tell their ideas about good habits and bad habits. Write down what they say on the board.
2. Say bad habits are bad for our health. How do we keep healthy? Encourage some individuals to say the way she/ he keeps healthy.
3. Say, everybody wants to keep healthy and different people have different ways to keep healthy. Have the students ask their friends to get more ways to keep healthy and write them down on the paper. They can find ways to keep healthy from the reading materials on the wall as well.
4. Encourage the students to share their ways about how to keep healthy in class.

Reflection:
This is a new teaching lesson. I elicit the advantages and disadvantages when people do their daily activities. They students can easily tell what are good habits and what are bad habits after this class. They can tell many good and bad habits according to their life experience. They can also talk with their friends to get more ways to keep healthy. But for the several new comers, they still have trouble in reading and saying out the new phrases well.
