Reflection:

This is a lesson which mainly focuses on how to name people with whom one does activities, and how to use frequency adverbs with the simple present tense to tell the frequency of activities. The design of this lesson, is leading by the key patterns first and then combine these patterns to be a complete and correct whole sentence, all the old students can catch well and even to use all the frequency adverbs with the activities by using the proper forms so that they can easily to tell the passage of “ what do you usually/sometimes/always/never do on Sundays”. Most of the new students can catch up the key patterns and can tell the frequency adverbs and the family activities, though they need more time to think. A few only can still having the difficulties for their non-English foundation. The leading part and presentation steps are alright for all the student’s level, most of them learnt well from the group competition, pair work, single show and other activities. However, the last step of showing how their understanding is kind of too short because of the time limited, therefore, manage the timing well is also a part of a good lesson.
