Teaching Plan
Teaching Content:Book 2 Unit 2 Part 2 & 3
Teaching Aims:
To identify the words of the prepositions;
To describe the location of the objects with the prepostions;
To use the sentence pattern “Where is the ________” to describe the pictures or whatever they see.
Teaching key points:
To distinguish the prepositions, and the different ways of expressions.
Teaching procedures:
I. Warm up
Ss recite and act out the story “The Ugly Duckling”.
II. Presentation
1. Lead – in
a. T shows a picture of a garden with a lot of animals, house, table, tree, flowers. Ss say anything they see in the picture.
T:What animals can you see in the picture?
Ss: I see…
T:How many…can you see?
Ss: I see…
T:What color are…?
Ss: They are…
T:Where is…? (Is it …?)
Ss: It’s…
b. Game: Guess what T touches.
Asks a student to come to the front and face the class, he may guess what T touches by asking questions like “Is it on the table?(Ss: No, it isn’t) Is it under the table?(Ss: No, it isn’t) Is it in front of the table?(Ss: Yes, it is in front of the table.) ”
c. Ss describe the picture in pairs.(Where is the… It’s…)
2. Prepositions: in/ on/ under/ behind / in front of
T shows a vedio of a song of the prepositions.
a. T asks questions when Ss watch the vedio.
T: Where is…?
Ss:It’s…
b. Ss try to sing after the vedio and act out the prepositions.
III. Practice
1. Match the prepositions with the pictures.
2. Use “Where is the…” to talk about more pictures with prepositions.
3. Game(touch the words you hear) to review the prepositions.
IV. Consolidation
1. T shows many pictures of animals, house, trees, and asks Ss come to the blackboard to put them in the right place.
2. Ss describe the picture the made on the blackboard in groups.(Where is the… It’s…)

本节课的授课对象为二年级的学生,教学内容为Book2 Unit 2 On the Playground,封老师从图片入手,让学生观察图片,描述图片。而后在课堂中引入视频歌曲,操练介词:in , on , under, in front of, behind. 40分钟的课堂,学生在说唱中操练句型和单词,通过玩游戏练习单词。课堂气氛非常轻松,单词操练也比较扎实。
一、教学亮点
1.从图片入手,让学生描述图片,锻炼孩子的看图说话能力。
封老师选取了一张有很多动物的图片。老师先引导孩子说:What animals can you see? How many cats are there? Where is the dog? Where are the rabbits? What color are the cats?短短的一张图片,老师让学生练习到了很多句型。同时也引入了本堂课的基本句型---The _______ is in/ on / under/ in front of/ behind the______.

二、教学建议
1.整堂课老师的重点放在in, on , under, in front of, behind的介词掌握。老师操练的歌曲和游戏都重在操练单词,整堂课的设置比较简单。因为学生在一年级已经接触过in, on, under的单词,老师让学生听音拍打黑板上的英语单词。重点在学生单词的认读上,最好能放在句型中操练。
2.课堂的环节比较混乱,没有体现学生循序渐进的规律。每一步的操练还可以更加扎实。
3.对新单词的体验,可以让学生多自我感知,体验,而后在句型中多读,而后在游戏中运用介词。
