Teaching Plan
Teaching Content:Book 2 Unit 2 Part 2 & 3
Teaching Aims:
To identify the words of the prepositions;
To describe the location of the objects with the prepostions;
To use the sentence pattern “There is ________” to describe the pictures or whatever they see.
Teaching key points:
To distinguish the prepositions, and the different ways of expressions.
Teaching procedures:
I. Warm up
1. Greeting
2. Free talk
What do you like doing on the playground?
What can you see on the playground?
3. Revision some words about the playground.(flashing cards)
II. Presentation
1. Lead – in
T shows a picture of a playground with only a bench, a tree, a slide and a swing on it.
T:What do you see on the playground?
Ss: I see…
2. Prepositions: in/ on/ under/ behind / in front of
T: (T shows a footprint of a dog/ bird / duck/ frog / boy.) Now what do you see?
(show some footprints and where the footprints go and let students guess where they are so as to lead in the prepositions.)
Ss: I see a dog/ bird / duck/ frog / boy…
T: Where is the dog/ bird / duck/ frog / boy…?
Ss: It’s in/ on/ under/ behind / in front of the …
Drill:
T shows more pictures about the prepositions and let students get familiar with them.
3. There is - sentence
T: Where is the boy?
Ss: The boy is behind the tree.
T: We can also say “There is a boy behind the tree.”(Lead in some more “There is- ”sentences.)
Drill:
a. Pair work – Use “There is…” to describe the picture.
b.Self-study - Exercise – True or False (Judge the “There is-”sentences about the picture.)
III. Practice
1. Use “There is …” to talk about more pictures with prepositions.
2. Pair work: Fill in the blanks in the passage.
3. Group work: Use “There is …” and prepositions to talk about the given picture by themselves.
IV. Produce
Show their descriptions in groups.
V. Homework
(T shows a picture of two children and ask)Look at this picture. Can we say “There is…?” After class, please think: what should we say?

本节课的授课对象为二年级的学生,教学内容为Book2 Unit 2 On the Playground,董老师引入一张playground的图片,巧妙的通过动物脚印来让学生猜测动物的位置,学生非常的感兴趣,并顺着老师的引导纷纷发表自己的观点,课堂气氛很活跃。通过猜测动物的位置,从而引出新知,过渡自然而流畅。
一、教学亮点
1.训练学生思维,激发学生兴趣。
通过脚印猜动物的位置,这个方法很新颖,学生们被这个有趣的环节深深的吸引着,都争先恐后举手发言。这个环节激发了学生的极大兴趣,学生通过猜位置发散了思维。
2.上课思路条理清晰,导入直切重点。。
董老师先通过猜动物位置引入新知,再通过各种不同形式的练习如判断正误,填空,小组合作描述图片等让进行操练。一节课下来,孩子们对新知都有较好的理解和掌握。
二、教学建议
1.可以多锻炼学生自学能力,让学生先自己做习题,如果不会再与partner或者小组成员讨论。
2.每个环节可以讲透彻一些,互动时让更多的学生来参与,这样可以更好的照顾一些后进生。
