Teaching procedure

I. Warm Up

1. To have a greeting: How are you today?

2. To show a calendar and have them answer the question

Eg. : What day is it today?What day was it yesterday? What’s the weather like today? What was the weather like yesterday?

II. presentation &Practice

1. To show a picture from the book and have them talk about it with their partner.

2. To have individual student talk about the pictures.

3. To guide them to learn the new phrases and them to show a video and have them listen to it carefully and answer the question.

4. To guide the past tense of the verbs by asking them to answer the questions and have them find differences between two colums of sentences.

5. To have them open their book and read the sentences and them match the pictures

6. To show many acitivities and have them find the past tense with their partner and read it together.

7. To show a question and have them practice in pair.

Eg What did you do last weekend? I……….. last weekend.

8. To show a passage about teacher’s National Day and have them read it first and then have them talk about their National Day in pair.
