Teaching procedures:
I. Warm up
1.Greeting

Nice to meet you
II. Presentation
1.Lead – in
Show a carrot picture
T:today you are very great. So I have a present for you. Let’s have a look .what is this?
Ss: It’s a ......
T: now put the carrot under the ground and now let’s begin to put the carrot.
2.Learn the family members
Of course the carrot cann’t be put out. Then there must be someone to help . So ask the students “ who can help?”
Ask some students to answer and listen and see. Who will help they. Learn the word “sister” then let the students practice sister several times in this pattern “ hello sister” “Good morning sister” “ sister come on sister come”. But the carrot can’t out . Then use this to teach the other family members.
3. Learn the sentence “this is my ...” .
The carrot is out ,so say good bye to mother, father, brother, sister, baby brother. Then let the family came back home. Then show some pictures about the family members and present the sentence “this is mother”. Then let the students guess : in this part ,the teacher show some pictures which from some Ss’s father, mother , in order to lead to the sentence “this is my...”
4.Game time.
The teacher show a flash game, let the students practice the sentence”this is my...(brother ,sister ,mother ,father)
III. Practice
Learn to introduce the family.
The teacher can introduce her family to the students and let the students introduce their families.
IV. Produce
Have the students to introduce their own family members.

Reflection:
this is a reading lesson which mainly focused on talking about one’s family. The object is have the students identify the family members and can introduce the family by using “this is my ...”. But in this lesson , I just did it in a very quickly way. I draw more attention on the times. So many parts in this lesson were in a dreaming situation. And the common rule in class is very worse. The students had no conscience in this aspect. I think first I should built the common rule in the class. Then when design the teaching plan , draw the points of the lesson in practicing. Then I forgot the phonics.
