Teaching aim: To learn to buy things.

To learn how to ask and give price.

Teaching procedure:

Step 1: Greeting

Step 2: lead-in

Look at the picture and ask them to guess what will we talk about today.

Step 3: Discuss the following questions

1. Do you like shopping?

2. When do you usually go shopping?

3. What do you usually buy?

The students discuss in groups and then free talk about it.

Step 4: Price

1. Look at the picture and speak out these items.

2. How much does the camera cost? It costs 100 pounds.

How much does the comic cost? It costs 75p.

How much is it for the camera and the comic cost?

That’s 100 pounds and 75 pence.

Pay attention to the units “pounds and pence”

4. Ask and answer with your partners.

Step 5: Draw and write

Have the students to design their own shop. And they can draw or write these items they want.

Step 6: Oral practicing about shopping.

Task: The group leader should choose one shop among their team and make up a dialogue. One should be the shop assistant and the others should be the guests.

While perform: While listening to the performance, I should ask “How much…” and the other groups can get some points for good listening. Then, they can ask and the others answer.

亮点:本课在设计时,充分以学生为中心点,通过学生说,学生运用或者学生出现错误从而学会或掌握本课的知识。

但是本次课,个人认为不是成功的。首先,在处理教材的时候,由于出现的是英镑,学生是很陌生的尤其还有pound,penny,pence等单位的读音让孩子运用起来会很吃力。更重要的是在句式how much is it for the…and the …? That’s …由于该句式涉及数量的加减。这让本次课难度更大了。所以在不知不觉中,学算术的意味更浓了。严重走题。所以,在以后的教学中,不能拘泥于书本,更要灵活处理教材,比如可以将英镑换成我们常用的人民币或者美元,而句式中,可以着重注意How is/are…?着重于读价格,而不是算。本课的重点应设为如何购物,并使用简单的询问价格语句。

另外,应结合实际生活,让孩子们充分发挥想象并运用所学知识来进行对话。老师给与情境,孩子以小组方式自由展示。并在展示当中,发现问题并更近一步掌握。而在展示中,其他孩子可以根据所听到的内容进行提问和回答等活动。

最后,整堂课在算价格那里停留下了脚步,以至于重心偏移,并且孩子们的展示和后面大量的活动都没有上到就下课了。所以,在处理这些细节方面有待加强。

本节课的教学内容为一堂有关购买物品,计算和认读价钱并用英语交流的小学英语课,重点是交流和价钱的认读和总价的计算,难点也在价钱的认读和总价的计算。

教师由一张放有无数只袋子的图片引入,让学生发挥想象,“看到这么多袋子,你会想到什么?”当有学生说到shopping的时候,顺势提出几个问题Do you like shopping? Where do you usually go shopping? What do you usually buy when you are shopping?然后让学生两两讨论,讨论之后请几个学生谈一谈。这是我比较喜欢的一个环节,教学设计联系紧密,呈现出来的学生的语言不受限制,思维灵活,并且紧扣主题。

接下来教师将教学图片中的小图片呈现在一张幻灯片上让学生用英语说出图中物品,然后让学生谈一谈他们想买的物品。我觉得这个环节的问题可以问的更深入更有意思一点,比如,外出旅行你会带图片中的哪些,为什么?或者爸妈给你200元钱(约20英镑),让你去帮自己的生日Party买几样东西,你会买什么?为什么?这样学生会讨论的更有意义,更感兴趣。

在价格读法,重难点突破时,遇到了比较大的困难,所以最后的展示不是很精彩。

总之,整堂课,教室设计很用心,虽然有些瑕疵,但是可以看出为之而付出的努力,所以还是很值得肯定的。
