Teaching Content:Book 2 Unit 2 Little Book

Teaching Aims:

To know the three countries and read it;

To understand the story and read page 1-3 fluently.

Teaching procedures:

I. Warm up

1. Greeting

2. Recite the weekly topic of week 8

3. Free talk

What’s the weather like today?

Where do you play in the school?

What do you like doing on the playground? Have the Ss work in pairs to ask and answer,then invite pairs to share it.

II. Presentation

1. Lead – in

Introduce the title of the little book.

T:Just now,we talk a lot of games we play on the playground,today we are going to learn a story .

Teacher writes on the blackboard and have the Ss read several times.

2. Talk about the pictures of the story.

Show the four pictures and have the Ss work in pairs to talk about the pictures by asking and answering as below:

What do you see? I see…

What are they doing? They are …

Then invite pairs to talk about the pictures.

3. Listen to the story.

Have the Ss listen and tell: What are the children doing on the playground in the story?

After listening, have the Ss tell what they heard.

4. Learn Page 1.

1).Look at the book and listen to page 1.

2).Read page 1 independently and circle the new words.

Learn the new word “Ireland” by phonics and show some beautiful pictures about it.

3).Read page 1 and answer: What are the children doing inIreland?

4).Read page1 ingroups.

After that, invite groups to read it.

5).Fill in the blanks to complete page 1.

Have the Ss work in groups again and then invite them to fill in the blanks.

5. Learn Page 2&3.

1).Look at the book and listen to page 2&3.

2).Read page 2&3 independently and circle the new words.

Learn the new word “Trinidad” by phonics and show some beautiful pictures about it.

3).Read page 2&3 and answer: What are the children doing inTrinidad?

4).Read page1 ingroups.

After that, invite groups to read it.

5).Fill in the blanks to complete page 2&3.

Have the Ss work in groups again and then invite them to fill in the blanks.

6).Group work. Have the Ss work in groups to act out page 2&3. Then invite groups to show it in front of the class.

III. Make a summary and end up the class.

教学反思:

本堂课的内容是新派英语第二册第二单元小故事的教学,故事的内容具有一定的趣味性,孩子们都比较感兴趣,能较流利的朗读故事所学部分,并且能将歌曲很熟练生动地唱出来。本堂课的难点在三个新词---(Ireland,Trinidad,mosquito),我通过自然拼音请孩子们自己感知并拼读,通过一系列方法如跟读、个人读、齐读、图片欣赏读及与故事图片相关的提问:Can you guess where are they from?,难点突破得比较好,基本达到了本堂课的教学目标。本堂课我采用了独学(独立回答问题,独立朗读故事)、对学(两人问和答、两人合作读)和群学(小组合作读、合作表演)的方式,孩子们得到了比较充分的练习和表达,学生主体性得到了体现。不足之处在于个别同学的参与积极性没有调动起来,可能设计的某些课堂活动没有顾及到后进生的学习能力,在考虑两头的学生这一点还要下功夫。

本节课的授课对象为二年级的学生,教学内容为Book3 Unit2的小故事Playground Games。何芳老师在设计课堂流程时,有遵循“生命课堂”的理念,由独学到群学到展示充分发挥了学生的主体作用。学生们对本堂课非常感兴趣,课堂气氛活跃。同时,本堂课,老师的读做得很到位,学生们个人读,两人读,小组合作读和表演故事中的歌曲。充分调动了孩子们的学习兴趣。

一、教学亮点

1.引入部分巧妙灵活。

何芳老师教学很灵活,擅长引导学生去思考问题,在导入部分,老师很巧妙说“ It’s sunny today. Can you play outside? Where do you play ?将今天的课题引入到Playground上面来。用一个问句What do you do on the playground?充分打开学生的思维,让孩子说说在操场所做的一些活动。

2.充分体现学生自主学习,以学生为主体。

首先何芳老师让孩子们谈一谈故事的四幅图片,然后,让学生听录音,说一说他们听到孩子们在操场做什么。然后,老师重点让孩子们听第一段,并且在听时,老师会强调让孩子们打开书本听,这个环节为孩子们自学减少了难度,因为孩子们在听录音时,就已经把不会的单词,句子学会了。然后,让学生自己读,让他们圈出新单词,在此环节老师就帮助学生解决了新词Ireland.然后,再让孩子们在小组内读第一段,接着,请小组进行展示。在教第二段时,因为有一首歌曲,老师又采用了不同的方法,让小组合作唱歌,孩子们非常感兴趣。学生读得充分,也愿意表现。整节课,学生读得很充分,学得很扎实。

3.创造安全的,受鼓励的环境。

何芳老师表情丰富,很有亲和力。她很善于去引导学生回答问题,比如有些后进生开始的时候只用单词或者短语来回答问题,她首先会肯定学生的回答,然后鼓励尝试用句子回来,当学生回答出来时,她会用夸张的语气去表扬学生,让学生感到很自豪,倍感自信。

二、建议在就段落给出问题时,是否可以让孩子们自己先在书上找到答案并划线,再让他们两人一组进行讨论,最后,老师再来检测可能会更好些。
